My letter to Congressman Serano Jose`.

Dear Congressman Serrano ,

I think poor working conditions in United States is horrible because the workers get mistreated and don't get as paid as much as the other workers and usually all that happens is they become demanded or be a slave or some are little kids and they are being child labored. Some workers even die for working for years, sometimes things happen to they're factory gets ruined like the Triangle Factory ! It burned, and the owner of the factory locked the door on the workers cause ' he thought the workers would still something while the fire was going on.
Even , taxi drivers being in poor working conditions. In 2006, the Philadelphia Parking Authority mandated that GPS systems be installed in all of Philly's taxicabs. Aside from questions about the PPA's contract with Taxitronics for the GPS units -- Taxitronics had their GPS contract with the City of New York revoked after a government investigation uncovered corruption in how Taxitronics won the lucrative contract -- there are persistent problems with the GPS units.

Annabel Lee Poem

They are in LOVE , well they were whoever wrote this poem because it seems like it when the poet wrote " But our love it was stronger by far than the love Of those who were older than we- Of many far wiser than we- " That sounds like they had a lot of love for each other until his true love which his true love is Annabel Lee died, and the poet who was writing this thought the angels were jealous of their Love so they let his Love(Annabel Lee] die, and be in a better place without him. So after she died, he wrote this sad but loving poem about her and how they loved each other so much, he wonders why she left him all alone in this world. I believe that the Theme of this poem is "Strong Love". I never seen stronger love then this love in a POEM. But, at least the poet knows how it feels to be Loved!!!

Poetry Response: Child,Child

My inferences based on this poem, is that this poem is so real, & I noticed maybe, the poet was feeling Loved once in her life while she was a child, so maybe she made that poem to inform how her love life was as a child.
She feels loved, or she wonders where that love gone ? In her poem, it says " CHILD, child, love while you can, The voice and the eyes and the soul of a man; Never fear though it break your heart. " In my opinion, that means she wondering where have that love go, if she is saying Love while you can.
I believe the meaning to this, is that Love while you still young & while you can, because once that love is gone it can never begin, I think that cause' it's true, that happens a lot in life. So maybe that happened to her.
I don't really connect to it, cause' i never fell in love but I do think that this is an amazing poem & very well spoken out, I can't forget that it rhymes, which I love about poems. But, I do like the poem a lot cause' it speaks out the truth in Love.

Poetry Response: Changes

In this poem, I can make an inference that this poem is about Tupac's life & how much he wants to change his style.

The word that best decsribes the poet is "Survive" because he wants to survive living as a Black person in his neighborhood.

The meaning of this poem is Making changes in your life, & trying to survive, & trying to make things better.

I do connect with this poem because if Tupac had problems & try to make changes, so can I. Tupac was a big rapper. And, I don't want to be like him but I want to persue a better life then him. In his poem he wanted to survive but also try to make a change & that's what really caught my attention to do.

Poetry vs. Prose

The article " Birmingham Campaign " is about showing people how to act , how to be , how the world should really be. Like back in the old days, everyone use to be very races & now I noticed that, that racism have stop. I also notice that people protest in Birmingham began with a selective when he said, " The purpose of ... direct action is to create a situation so crisis-buying Campaign packed that it will inevitably open the door to negotiation".
I can't forget about the the poem that was read to me after which was really interesting and it made me read it twice or maybe 3 times because ' it seems like I couldn't quite get it . But' when I finally got it I thought that the little girl that was in the poem, She wanted to go march the streets if Birmingham in a Freedom March but at that March there was a Bomb explosion which made her lose her daughter.
